Stop Bullying

Posted: October 5, 2012 in Quotes

“It gets better. It seems hard, you know, I think being different is always gonna be a tough climb. There’s always gonna be people that are scared of it. But at the end of the day you give those bullies, those people, that are so ignorant, if you give them the power to affect you, you’re letting them win. And they don’t deserve that. What you’re doing by being yourself is you’re keeping it real, and you’re being really brave.”

TALKER or DOER

Posted: September 26, 2012 in Quotes

“There are TWO kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down. You got your TALKERS and you go your DOERS. Most people are just TALKERS. All they do is talk. But when it’s all said and done, it’s the DOERS that change this world. And when they do that, they change US. So which one are you? Do you just TALK about it, or, do you stand up and DO something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just coffee house BULLSHIT – David Della Rocco (Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day)

So this quote (the one above obviously) has been in my brain for the past couple of days. And it actually got me thinking about people in general. There are people in this world that are all talk. Basically what I mean by that is that they say one thing and do something completely different because they punk out because they are afraid they are going to get into trouble.  Those type of people, I like to call, FAKE. Those fake ass mother- ok, not going to say what I was planning because I’m not mean. But I mean seriously. Don’t sit there and say “Im’ma fuck you up dude” then completely back down because you know you’re going to lose. People like this make up the majority of the world anymore. But those that actually do something about whatever they believe in (i.e.: FIGHTING FOR YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY), they are the people I look up to and praise. Every day, our brave men and women fight to keep this country free. They are the true doers (not that the Boondock Saints aren’t because they are).

So take the poll based on what YOU think you are according to the quote. Do you just talk about shit? -OR- Do you stand up and do something about it?
